Wednesday, September 21, 2022Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo3701 S. 10th Street, OmahaJoin our hosts the Henry Doorly Zoo Horticulture Department for a walk on the wild side during the Nebraska Nursery and Landscape (NNLA) Field Day on Wednesday, September 21. The event will include guided tours with the horticulture staff through the Desert Dome, Lied Jungle, the Scott African Grasslands, Asia Highlands, and more. We will hear a presentation about their browse program, which accepts fresh, leafy branches to help feed the animals. Connect with other professionals while enjoying the zoo.

8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Registration – Meet at Main Entrance (South) to receive your admission ticket9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.Welcome and overview of the park and zoo horticulture. After meeting the staff, we will break into tour groups.10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Pick one tour:

2:30 p.m.Adjourn. Your zoo admission is valid all day so can continue to view exhibits you might have missed.
ParkingFree parking in any zoo parking lot. Will enter through Main Entrance (South).
NNLA is not liable for any injury or damage resulting from willful acts of attendees. Attendees assume all risk and danger relating to the Field Day event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event.
Cancellation Policy: A refund, less a $10 administrative fee, will be given for all written requests postmarked by September 12, 2022. Requests received after that date will be reviewed by the NNLA Board of Directors. In the unlikely event the Summer Field Day is cancelled due to uncontrollable circumstances, your payment will be considered a donation to NNLA.
